Fees

KRF provides two options for receiving counsel: 1) KRF Attorney-Client Agreement and 2) Limited Scope Virtual Counsel Agreement.
Under both agreements, clients are responsible for all costs such as, but not limited to,
postage fees, long distance fees, photocopying expenses, registration fees and filing fees.
KRF Attorney-Client Agreement
The KRF Attorney-Client Agreement specifies a hybrid fee schedule that distinguishes between work done virtually and
work done "live," such as attendance at hearings or meetings. Under this agreement, KRF will provide representation and
counsel on all matters for which he is capable.
The hybrid fee schedule requires that a client pay a non-refundable fee of one hundred and twenty dollars ($120) at the beginning of each monthly
period for which KRF is being retained.
This non-refundable charge covers all virtual services such as legal research and writing. All non-virtual work,
such as, but not limited to, appearing in court, meeting with clients or attendance at an arbitration hearing, is billed hourly.

* Communication and photocopying costs are subject to a six dollar ($6) per month exemption.
** The non-virtual work retainer is required only if the client requires non-virtual counsel.

Limited Scope Virtual Counsel Agreement
The Limited Scope Virtual Counsel Agreement allows a client to hire
KRF for handling one particular legal issue in a virtual manner.
The legal fee to handle the issue is
fixed according to the schedule below. All costs, such as but not limited to, filing fees,
registration fees and
postal expenses, are also paid by the client.
When receiving
limited scope virtual legal counsel, communication with KRF is done online
or by telephone, facsimile and/or postal
mail. In-person meetings are not provided for under the Limited Scope Virtual Counsel Agreement.

Note, limited scope virtual counsel is legal counsel. The fees above include not just document preparation but
also the necessary legal counsel, provided virtually, to ensure that the documents are competently prepared given your legal situation and goals.
For matters not listed above, the standard KRF Attorney-Client Agreement is available. However, if you believe limited scope counsel would be
more appropriate for a particular issue not listed above, please contact KRF.
